Job Title: Workshop Manager
Salary: £52,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent
Work Location: Stockton (On site)
Weekly Hours: 37.5 Hours (Monday to Friday)

As one of our Planners, you will be a commercially aware candidate who will play an integral part in the delivery of high quality, cost effective, logistics services for our customer base by being responsible for the efficient movement of LGV tanker trailers across the country including single and multiple drops per day at customer sites.
The Role:
As Workshop Manager, you'll be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the workshop, ensuring high productivity, exceptional quality of work, and outstanding customer satisfaction. You'll lead a team of technicians, manage workflow, and maintain high health & safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee day-to-day workshop operations
* Lead, motivate, and develop a team of technicians and apprentices
* Allocate work efficiently to maximise productivity
* Ensure repairs and servicing are completed to the highest standards
* Monitor KPIs, profitability, and labour performance
* Maintain compliance with UK health & safety regulations
* Liaise with customers and service advisors to deliver excellent service
* Manage stock control and parts ordering
Vereisten
Required Experience
* Proven experience in a workshop supervisory or management role
* Strong technical knowledge of vehicle / trailer diagnostics, servicing, and repairs
* Excellent leadership and organisational skills
* Commercial awareness and ability to drive performance
* Strong communication skills
* Full UK driving licence
* Strong team builder

* HGV Licence
