This role involves providing procurement services for the Site Operations team, supporting site requirements in a timely and cost-effective manner, and liaising with internal departments and external suppliers.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
* Process purchase orders, requisitions, quotations, negotiations, and terms and conditions.
* Manage external plant hire purchase orders and damage/loss queries.
* Order external transport in coordination with site requirements.
* Set up supply chain accounts and manage payment terms.
* Maintain supply chain database documentation, certifications, approvals, vetting, ratings, compliance, and KPI reporting.
* Perform administrative duties including filing, faxing, typing, photocopying, scanning, and data entry.
* Adhere to work procedures and consult with appropriate personnel for significant decisions.
* Embed company values in all decisions and behaviors.
This role involves working with the operational team at Sizewell.
Candidate Requirements
* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and database management.
* Good written English and communication skills.
* Ability to handle a varied workload with good planning and attention to detail.
* Customer service orientation and professionalism.
* Flexibility, organization, and supportiveness within a team environment.
