Skills & Experience Required Strong hands-on Python Experience with multiple Python test automation frameworks Proven ability to test command-line utilities and APIs through functional, scenario-based approaches Solid experience delivering regression testing across complex and evolving software environments. Demonstrated experience developing detailed test plans and translating requirements into clear, structured testing activities. Proven track record contributing to automation strategy or improving test processes. Deep experience testing mobile devices and overseeing controlled test environments. Confident working with version control, CI/CD pipelines, and modern automation tooling. Strong analytical mindset and ability to troubleshoot hardware/software integration issues. Clear communicator with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams. Comfortable leading by example and supporting colleagues in a hands-on technical setting. What You'll Be Doing Create, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans, ensuring full coverage of requirements and consistent, repeatable validation throughout each testing phase. Assess the suitability of multiple Python test automation frameworks and help define the tooling we adopt. Coaching junior testers on best practices across scripting, device handling, and methodology. Monitoring device performance, reliability, and readiness ahead of test cycles. Enhancing device management processes, documentation, and operational standards. Designing, executing, and refining both manual and automated test scenarios across mobile platforms. Expanding and maintaining Python-driven automation frameworks for test execution and device management. Producing clear, detailed test reports, defect analysis, and quality insights. Running device preparation, validation, and configuration workflows prior to testing. Identifying gaps and improving test tooling, documentation, and operational efficiency.
