You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational Accounts Payable processes, ensuring workloads are covered and tasks are completed to a high standard. You will also assist the Transaction Manager in managing a team of up to 6 members. The role is based at our London HQ, requiring presence in the office 3 days a week. This is a 12-month FTC position.
What you’ll be doing:
* Work closely with the Transaction Manager to improve the function, proactively identifying areas for improvement and highlighting inefficiencies in systems and processes to create a global centre of excellence.
* Produce a monthly KPI report for review by the Transaction Manager.
* Ensure new joiners receive proper training and knowledge transfer to perform their roles effectively.
* Resolve Accounts Payable queries efficiently and promptly.
* Drive process improvements and automation within the Accounts Payable workstream.
* Be a positive role model and supportive team member, representing Finance Operations effectively.

* Ability to work independently and escalate issues when necessary.
* Excellent relationship-building skills across all business areas.
* Initiative in encouraging change and challenging the status quo.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Experience with Netsuite is advantageous.
* Experience processing stock/grocery invoices and understanding the process end-to-end is preferred but not essential.
