Main duties
About us
You will join a CQC-rated 'Good' service with a team of 15 Child Psychiatrists in Devon and Torbay. The service is aligned with your special interests and work preferences. Devon CAMHS is part of a wider integrated service within Children and Family Health Devon, offering a range of health, social, and educational services. We value diversity, continual improvement, and outcome-based interventions to support children, young people, and their families.
The post is based in South Devon and Torbay, with flexibility regarding the base location. There will be opportunities to develop your special interest and provide medical leadership in areas such as Eating Disorders, Neurodevelopmental Disorders, or Developmental Trauma.

Person Specification
* Leadership ability in a multidisciplinary team
* Collaborative working skills

Qualifications
* Full GMC registration
* Approved Clinician status or ability to achieve within 3 months
* Eligible for the Specialist Register or within 6 months of CCT
* Approved under section 12(2) of the Mental Health Act 1983
* MRCPsych or equivalent
* Higher degree in medical education, research, or management
* Sub-specialty or specific training evidence
* CCT in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
Teaching and Supervision
* Experience teaching undergraduates and postgraduates
