Duties as an Early Years Teacher:
* Support the class teacher and Early Years staff in delivering a stimulating, play-based curriculum.
* Help create a warm, safe and engaging environment where every child feels valued and secure.
* Assist with children’s social, emotional and physical development.
* Support with toileting, personal care and meal/snack times as needed.
* Observe and record children’s progress in line with the EYFS framework.
* Communicate effectively with colleagues, children, and parents/carers.
Ideal Early Years Teacher:
* A relevant Early Years qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Early Years Education) – essential.
* Experience working in a nursery or Early Years setting.
* A kind, calm, and responsive approach to supporting young learners.
* Knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices as a Nursery Teaching Assistant.
* A good team player who is flexible, reliable and enthusiastic.
