Product Manager – Physical Products Location: Farnborough, UK
Salary: £60,000 – £80,000 + company car & benefits

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, international organisation operating within the industrial and capital equipment sector. They are seeking an experienced Product Manager to play a key role in defining and supporting a profitable growth strategy across a portfolio of physical, engineered products.
This role would suit a commercially minded Product Manager with strong technical understanding and experience working with tangible products rather than SaaS. You’ll work cross-functionally to bring customer-backed innovations to market and help drive long-term commercial and technological advantage.
As Product Manager, you will take ownership of assigned product lines, managing the full product lifecycle from concept and development through to launch, growth and end-of-life. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders across R&D, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Production, Quality and Service.
Analysing market trends, customer needs, competitive intelligence and technology developments
Translating customer insight and market data into product requirements and business cases
Acting as a product advocate, supporting product launches, sales enablement and training
Collaborating across technical and commercial teams to ensure successful product delivery
Undergraduate degree in a technical, scientific or marketing discipline
Demonstrable product management or commercial experience within a physical product environment (e.g. capital equipment, machinery, food equipment, instrumentation or industrial automation)
Strong commercial understanding, including pricing, margin, profitability and market positioning
Strong capability in market analysis, competitor benchmarking and opportunity evaluation
Confident communicator, able to influence stakeholders using data and logic
Proficient in Microsoft Office and modern business tools
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
Collaborative and persuasive, building strong cross-functional relationships
