Site Supervisor – High Voltage (132kV Substations / SSEN Projects)

Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 per annum

The Opportunity
A leading national contractor is seeking a High Voltage Site Supervisor to support a major 132kV SSEN substation and cabling programme across the South of England. This is a long-term, secure role within the energy infrastructure and renewable transition sector, with over 88 confirmed substation projects running through 2028.
Key Responsibilities
*
Supervise and coordinate HV cabling and substation construction activities
*
Deliver projects in line with SSEN safety and technical standards
*
Manage site teams, subcontractors and daily work schedules
*
Provide on-site leadership for power infrastructure delivery
*
Ensure compliance with CDM regulations, environmental and quality procedures
Required Experience
*
Proven background on high voltage (HV) substation or cabling projects
*
Experience working on SSEN, National Grid or similar T&D projects
*
SSSTS & CSCS (essential)
*
Understanding of 132kV systems, SSEN Cat 3 and SSSTS requirements
*
Strong site supervision and stakeholder communication skills
