As we continue to grow, we are now seeking to strengthen our Construction team with an Assistant Project Manager. It's a permanent, full time role based at one of our offices in Stirling, Glasgow or Castle Douglas and incorporates hybrid working.
The Natural Power Construction Team help clients to administer contracts and by acting as their project interface, supervising construction and managing specifications. We provide specific grid and electrical services as well as offering support in the form of civil and structural services, monitoring, witness testing and snagging inspections.
Safety is one of our main focuses, and by providing a range of CDM and project safety services we are able to instil best practice to all our construction sites. Our engineering team comprises experts in civil, mechanical, electrical, environmental and geotechnical engineering, they are able to make a project run more effectively and act as on-site representatives if required.
The main purpose of this role is to provide successful pre-construction and construction phase consultancy services by supporting project managers to deliver client and contract requirements. Projects include onshore wind, solar PV, Battey Energy Storage Systems (BESS), hydro, and a variety of other associated technologies.
* Undertake pre-planning, pre-construction, and construction phase services in connection with UK and wider European and global renewable developments.
* Assist and prepare for submission of various documents, including but not limited to:
* Tenders
* Technical documentation
* Contract preparation and management.
* Planning condition discharging
* Work with key stakeholders (client, planning authorities, statutory environmental authorities, local communities, utilities, highway authorities etc.) in delivering construction management services.
* Administration relating to projects including management of project budgets, risk and TQ registers, monthly reporting, and action trackers.
* Ad hoc assessments and tasks associated with project management as directed by the project team involved.
* Chair and minute client and contractor meetings
