37.5 Hours per Week - Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:30, Friday 08:00 to 13:30
Mechanical Fitter required to work in a varied and technically challenging role. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established company with a global reputation during a busy period of growth.
Candidates will need to be a mechanical engineer with experience working in a technical assembly / machine fitting position. You will hold a relevant mechanical qualification and will have experience working with hydraulics, pneumatics, hand tools and power tools.
Working in a team of 5-6 people, the successful Mechanical Fitter will be responsible for building and assembling special purpose machinery based from engineering drawings.
The Mechanical Fitter Role:
· Building and assembling special purpose machinery
· Working from engineering drawings
· Using hand and power tools
· Fitter bearings, taper lock pulleys and gears
· Working with hydraulic and pneumatic pipework
· Quality checks
The Mechanical Fitter Candidate:
· Experience mechanical fitter / engineer
· Hold a mechanical engineering qualification
· Experience using hand and power tools
