Job Description:
We are seeking a National Clinical Lead to support the Centre for Sustainable Delivery’s Perioperative Delivery Group (PDG).
This role involves providing professional expertise in the development, design, and delivery of initiatives related to the Perioperative Delivery Group within the CfSD.
The Clinical Lead will collaborate with the National Improvement Advisor, National Associate Directors, and Associate Clinical Directors to build on current initiatives. The focus is on developing 'Once for Scotland' approaches within NHS Scotland by offering strategic leadership and support for clinical teams to test innovative practices and redesign pathways, which can be scaled and shared across Scotland.
The role requires delivering redesign efforts underpinned by high-quality, credible clinical advice aligned with high professional standards and our approach to Realistic Medicine.
The successful candidate must act as an authoritative change agent, demonstrating the highest professional standards and experience working with senior NHS Scotland managers.
