Trial Balance Consulting have been re-engaged by a long-standing client, a prominent services business and respected local employer. The company seeks to recruit an experienced Finance Officer to join their small but highly efficient finance function.
The role is offered as a full-time, permanent position and the successful candidate will be based from the company’s headquarters on the outskirts of Truro (with free parking!)
This is a broad role where the successful candidate will assume a wide variety of tasks and responsibilities, with a key focus on the sales ledger function. Other duties to include:
- Work closely with Finance Director to collect overdue debts
- Issue invoices and authorise bank transfers
- Bank reconciliation and production of debtor reports
- Other ad-hoc duties as and when required.
For this role we seek an experienced Accounts Assistant or Credit Controller, who possess strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. Candidates will ideally be full or part AAT qualified, but we are happy to consider those who consider themselves to be qualified by experience. Strong IT skills, particularly using MS Excel is essential, as will be the ability to communicate effectively with a range of internal colleagues and external stakeholders.
