Overview
Join as a Nursery Trainee Manager at Tops Day Nurseries, where you will develop leadership skills within a dynamic early years setting. This full‑time permanent role is based in Bournemouth, Dorset.
Responsibilities
* Support the day‑to‑day operation of the nursery, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children.
* Collaborate closely with the Nursery Manager and staff to promote high standards of care and education.
* Assist in staff training, mentoring, and guidance to deliver quality childcare.
* Monitor children’s development and implement EYFS‑based educational activities.
* Build strong relationships with parents, addressing concerns and promoting events.
* Help with administrative tasks such as attendance, incident reports, and budgeting.
* Support policy implementation and ensure staff and parent adherence to regulations.
Qualifications
* Level 3 Early Years, EYFS or equivalent qualification.
* Solid knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures.
* Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices.
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
* Eligibility to work in regulated roles and not on the Children’s Barred List.
