Site Production Scheduling Manager – Respiratory, Oral Solid Dose (OSD) & Micronising Supply Chain

The role reports directly into the Site Logistics Director and operates as a key member of the Value Streams team to ensure the execution of Production Scheduling for all work centres at the site. The Value Streams at Ware are responsible for the manufacture of our Respiratory device, an Oral Solid Dose New Product Introduction facility and micronising APIs for both Respiratory and Oral Solid Dose manufacture across the network and for third parties.
As Production Scheduling Manager you will ensure monitoring and definition of capacity statements for all work centres within the site (with a future projected view of 0‑24 months), maintain scripted production schedules, manage inventory according to supply‑chain design, own the Schedule Lock process and achieve Conformance to Schedule (CTS) KPI. You will also drive improvement via GPS methodology, digitalisation and automation, and manage the transition from ECC to OMP as a planning process on site.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure schedules optimise production capacity, inventory and the customer order book across all manufacturing units.
* Facilitate schedule handover with Supply Planning to deliver achievable demand to the Scheduling team.
* Measure Conformance to Plan (CtP) and Conformance to Schedule (CtS) for all production work centres, trend results and drive improvements.
* Execute scripted activity to deliver optimum schedules (exceptions, inventory management and data maintenance).
* Apply a defined performance‑management process to ensure order fulfilment and incorporate non‑standard requirements (e.g. launch, NPI, engineering).
* Identify and drive continuous‑improvement opportunities and automation to create a best‑in‑class scheduling operation.
About You
This role suits a highly motivated individual with a degree (ideally) and strong experience working in a cross‑functional, global supply organisation. You have detailed knowledge of logistics, supply‑chain and scheduling in a highly regulated industry, are demonstrated people‑skills, resilient under pressure, and possess a continuous‑improvement mindset and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications
* Relevant experience in planning and scheduling models, inventory management and end‑to‑end supply chain.
* Relevant qualifications (preferably to degree level).
* Knowledge of logistics operations gained from a highly regulated production environment.
* Experience managing complex supply chains of both finishing pack and bulk supply.
* Experience driving improvement via lean methodology and change management with strong communication.
