Regional Finance Manager
Join NVOG as a Regional Finance Manager responsible for overseeing financial operations across two subsidiary businesses located near Lancaster and Rossendale. The role is hybrid, requiring 1–2 days a week onsite at each site.
Objectives
 * Prepare full management accounts with detailed cost analysis.
 * Support group stakeholders during month‑end and seasonal reporting.
 * Manage accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
 * Maintain fixed asset registers and monthly depreciation.
 * Assist in annual budgeting and statutory accounts production.
 * Produce monthly cashflow statements and profit forecasts.
 * Support local finance teams with ledger reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and payment runs.
 * Prepare VAT submissions and payroll support.
 * Develop and enhance accounting systems and processes aligning with PLC Group procedures.
 * Business partner with key stakeholders for commercial decisions, pricing analysis, and KPI reporting.
 * Conduct operational analysis, CAPEX reviews, and provide financial support for new initiatives.
 * Deliver ad hoc compliance and internal management reporting.
Qualifications
Qualifications: Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA). Experience in a similar level role within distribution, manufacturing, or retail/e‑commerce.
Skills: Strong IT proficiency, experience with QuickBooks and potential use of MS Dynamics. Ability to work with minimal supervision, prioritize tasks, and meet group reporting deadlines.
