An established, community-focused charity is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to take ownership of its day-to-day financial operations. This is a standalone role based onsite in Derby offering the opportunity to play a key part in supporting the organisation’s continued impact within the local community. This position would suit a hands-on finance professional who enjoys working in a varied role, with responsibility for both transactional and management accounting activities. Key Responsibilities * Full ownership of day-to-day finance operations * Managing purchase and sales ledger, invoicing and credit control * Processing and overseeing payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance * Maintaining accurate financial records and managing bank reconciliations * Producing monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and reporting * Preparing budgets and supporting forecasting activities * Monitoring cash flow and supporting financial planning * Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal controls * Supporting audit processes and liaising with external accountants/auditors * Producing financial reports to support senior leadership decision-making About You * AAT Level 3 (or above), or part/fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) * Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar finance role * Strong working knowledge of accounting systems (e...
