Practice Manager (Wealth Management) - London
We are working with a well-established SJP Practice based in London that is looking to hire a new Practice Manager. We seek a candidate with extensive experience in a similar role, who is flexible and communicates effectively with their team. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize workload efficiently, whether working independently or as part of a team.
This position is predominantly office-based in Central London. Candidates should have previous experience in the Financial Services industry, either as an administrator or a team leader.
Responsibilities:
* Provide high-level technical and administrative support to Advisers/Practice Manager;
* Handle client and third-party queries effectively through communication;
* Serve as the escalation point for complex client queries, liaising with advisers, clients, and third parties;
* Ensure Practice Support Specialists perform their functions efficiently through effective management and processes;
* Provide technical support and training to new and junior staff;
* Manage holiday bookings for team members;
* Ensure files are complete with all necessary documentation and forms;
* Process applications accurately and record management information;
* Coordinate with product providers, advisers, clients, and third parties to complete complex applications timely.
Knowledge, Experience, and Skills:
* Senior administration experience in an SJP practice or investment/wealth management environment;
* Experience managing workflow, systems, and procedures;
* Knowledge of relevant regulation and legislation;
* Experience with client management systems such as Salesforce;
* Experience managing client accounts and relationships;
* Excellent face-to-face and telephone communication skills;
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel);
* Strong attention to detail;
* Effective time management and multi-tasking skills;
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle conflicting demands;
* Positive attitude and professional demeanor;
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
* Open to change and creative problem-solving skills;
* Discretion and professionalism in dealing with sensitive information.
