The Salvation Army provides support and emergency accommodation for homeless adults within the Glasgow Area. We are looking to recruit a Concierge to join our team in William Hunter House Lifehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
 1. Offer front of house services to clients ensuring they are signed in or out where required and their queries are handled in a professional manner, referring them to support staff where required
 2. Accurately record messages, conduct follow up telephone calls, update log books, handover and H&S records etc.
 3. Work with clients to resolve conflict using de-escalation skills where appropriate
 4. Complete building checks which may include patrols of the building
 5. Carry out some admin, cleaning and laundry duties
The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate:
 6. Motivation towards supporting vulnerable clients to achieve focussed and positive life outcomes
 7. Able to work within the ethos of The Salvation Army
 8. Non-judgemental and respectful approach to people with multiple and complex needs
 9. Good customer service and time management skills with ability to prioritise workload
