We are working in partnership with a local primary school in Gloucester that want to appoint a Part Time SEN Teaching Assistant working Monday to Friday mornings, to provide SEN support to small groups of children in KS2. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll be working closely with small groups of pupils to support learning and behaviour, offering tailored support and encouragement. This Part Time SEN Teaching Assistant roles is due start September 2025 working Monday to Friday Mornings. The role is expected to continue for the whole academic year. Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant: Deliver SEND support to a KS2 pupils within the classroom Implement learning activities designed by the class teacher and SENCO Monitor and report progress to the teaching team Support the wider classroom as needed in line with National Curriculum goals Required Skills and Experience as Teaching Assistant: Experience as a Teaching Assistant, or Learning Support Assistant Experience in UK Primary School settings Understanding of the Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2) curriculum Relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification Excellent behaviour management skills Working as a Teacher Assistant for Flourish Education also offers you excellent benefits including - £88.92 - £95.00 per day which equates to £17,339.40 - £18,525.00 per annum based on working 5 days for a full school year.
