The Role An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join a progressive, forward-thinking, small animal practice in Rugeley, Staffordshire. This role is perfect for an enthusiastic and motivated nurse who enjoys a varied caseload and wants to make the most of their skills in nursing consults, theatre work, inpatient care, and reception duties. The team includes 6 RVNs, 1 SVN, and 4 Vets, all working together to provide exceptional patient and client care. The practice is well-equipped, featuring digital radiography, ultrasound, an in-house lab, separate dog and cat wards, and a fully equipped surgical suite. The practice encourages professional development, offering funded CPD, and opportunities to take on additional responsibilities such as clinical coaching. This role offers a healthy work-life balance, with no out-of-hours work and the option to work either five shorter days or four longer days per week. The shifts rotate between early (8 am – 5 pm) and late (10 am – 7 pm) starts, ensuring variety in the working week.
