Are you an experienced Electrical Services/Electrical FM Business Development Manager with a proven track record in selling electrical engineering, electrical installation and electrical maintenance services to Facilities Management & Landlords of Commercial Buildings & Industrial sites in the Home Counties & Southeast UK region?
Are you familiar with selling and account managing a large portfolio of commercial clients as well as being successful in winning new electrical engineering install and FM contract business?
Our client is looking for a dynamic and experienced electrical FM sales individual with proven success in comprehensive electrical sales, PPM and reactive service business development to join the Electrical Division as a Business Development Manager, ideally you will have been an electrician/ have an electrical background before going into sales. You will have the ability to sell specialist electrical engineering solutions for commercial blue-chip companies.
The main purpose of this role is to execute new sales and manage existing corporate accounts, offering services such as electrical installations of EV chargers and ongoing EV charger maintenance contracts, external lighting/security at commercial offices/retail sites and retail parks etc and other emergency electrical repair, servicing and maintenance commercial/industrial sites and nurturing existing FM and Landlord clients to ensure business growth.
Key Responsibilities of an Electrical FM Business Development Manager
* On site visits to new and existing clients.
* Issue of quotations adhering to company gross profit targets.
* Site/technical reports to be fed back to production department to assist in production/scheduling works.
* Project management of larger orders including close liaison with production teams to make sure timelines and requirements are met.
* Demonstrate strategies for building long-term client relationships in and new sales wins.
* General prospecting and business development, with a keen eye for identifying new prospects.
* Utilizing CRM software to manage technical sales pipelines efficiently.
* Developing customized solutions for clients’ technical needs as an Electrical Engineering/FM Business Development Manager
Measuring and improving sales performance metrics in technical sales.

The Person
* Proven success in an Electrical FM/Electrical Engineering Services sales role managing a large portfolio of commercial clients to include the major FM companies and large Landlords the likes of CBRE, Cushman & Wakefield, JLL, Crown Estate, Savills etc.
* Possess the ability to reach and exceed sales targets.
* Hold a Full Manual UK License.
* Previous Electrical Services/Electrical FM Solutions Sales Experience is an absolute must.
* Ideally you will have won some major electrical install/ongoing electrical FM contracts; EV Charger Install & Maintenance contract sales wins would be highly advantageous, but not essential.
* Ability to use your own initiative and be self-motivated.
* Technical/Electrical engineer background before moving into FM/electrical contracts sales is heavily advantageous but not essential.
* Worked within an Electrical Contractor/Electrical FM Company as a Sales Manager, Business Development Manager or Senior Electrical Service Sales Manager with a contact network of Contracts Managers, Site Managers, Portfolio Managers that you can bring with you.
* A desire and hunger to succeed and make a lot of money through exceeding sales targets.
* Home based in Kent, Essex, Hertfordshire, Surrey /surrounding areas willing to travel to client meetings and attend our client’s Head Office in Kent as and when required.
