We are currently looking to recruit an qualified Level 3 practitioner or a Level 2 qualified/unqualified individual who is committed to obtaining a Level 3 certificate. The nursery is located at Woodlands Day Nursery, Frimley Park Hospital, Camberley, Surrey, providing high‑quality care and education to children aged 3 months to 5 years.
Main Duties
* Report to the Nursery Manager and deliver full‑day care for children under 5, in line with the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (2021).
* Report to the Room Lead and ensure the delivery of practices that support children’s progress, as outlined within the Early Years Outcomes and non‑statutory guidance (2021).
* Contribute to cohesive team working practices, including the key person system; plan, implement, and monitor own CPD to strengthen provision for children and families.
* Monitor health and safety, ensuring processes are documented, risk assessments completed, and the nursery remains compliant.

Detailed Responsibilities
* Use knowledge of child development theories, progressive learning, and best practices to deliver individualised care and learning to children under five within EYFS statutory and guiding principles.
* Have experience implementing EYFS for children from birth to five.
* Be Level 3 qualified, or be committed to completing the qualification.
* Collaborate with the room lead and colleagues to ensure the environment reflects appropriate challenge and risk, with age‑ and stage‑appropriate resources and differentiated learning opportunities.
Qualifications
* Early Years Level 3 Ofqual‑approved qualification.
* Minimum GCSE Maths and English at Grade C/4 or equivalent.
* Paediatric First Aid certificate (desirable).
* Commitment to ongoing professional development (CPD) relevant to personal and professional needs.
Experience
* Experience in implementing EYFS for children from birth to five.
* Experience with EYFS Observation, Assessment and Planning.
* Experience working in an NHS Day Nursery or other full‑day care setting (desirable).
* Experience across the full birth‑to‑five age range (desirable).
