Acute Rehab Support Worker (ARSW) - Band
The post-holder will be working within Male short satay ward B at the OUH NHS Foundation Trust.
You will be expected to provide to patient observations, assisting with individual therapy goals, being involved in rehabilitation through holistic and patient centered care. You must be able to demonstrate empathy, compassion and the ability to cope in challenging situations. You will work closely with the Multi-disciplinary team (MDT) and must have a desire to make a difference to vulnerable patients who require additional observations and intervention whilst in our care.

Main duties of the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Short Stay Ward B team. The post-holder will be working on the wards.
The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of holistic care and patient observations including distraction therapy, reminiscence therapy, personal care, support with nutrition / hydration, mouth care and prevention of deconditioning.
