Seeking a Health, Safety, and Environmental Advisor to support a medium-sized, fast-paced manufacturing site in East Cheshire. The focus will be to ensure that the current safety management system is robust and comprehensive; drive cultural change, taking the workforce with you on a proactive cultural maturity journey, to drive accountability downward and empower the workforce.
This is the most senior HSE role on site, with full creative control of Health, Safety, and Environmental needs at this location. You will report to the Group Safety Manager with a dotted line to the Factory Manager, who is very supportive.
This role would suit an up-and-coming, strong Health, Safety, and Environment Advisor, with site management experience, or a current HSE manager seeking a new challenge. You will be able to put your own stamp on safety and shape the future of HSE across the site.

Main Responsibilities
* Ensure compliance with all relevant HSE legislation and company policies.
* Create and implement a 3-5 year HSE plan.
* Collaborate with team leaders, factory managers, and internal/external stakeholders.
* Support and promote a proactive safety culture where employees feel engaged and empowered.
* Support continuous improvement in Health, Safety, and Environment standards annually.
* Lead HSE projects across the site.
Essential Qualifications, Background, and Experience
* NEBOSH Certificate minimum.
* Experience in fast-paced manufacturing, ideally in food, drink, bakery, tobacco, engineering, agriculture, paper, or packaging.
* Ability to lead cultural change.
* Previous responsibility for site HSE management.
* Approachable and visible on site.
