The Solution Architect role is pivotal in designing and implementing Citrix solutions that drive our client's business transformation. Day-to-day, the successful candidate will assess business requirements, design Citrix/NetScaler architectures, provide guidance on best practices & prescribe execution plans. The ideal candidate is passionate about bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring optimal alignment.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities
1. Design and implement Citrix cloud solutions tailored to client requirements.
2. Engage with stakeholders to assess business needs and recommend suitable Citrix architectures.
3. Mentor junior architects and provide technical leadership.
4. Collaborate with sales teams to provide technical expertise during client engagements.
5. Develop strategies to improve and optimize existing Citrix deployments.
6. Inform the product team of any enhancements or features based on client feedback.
7. Ensure client solutions comply with external regulatory and security standards.
8. Identify potential risks in implementations and design mitigation strategies to address these challenges.
9. Work closely with the security and infrastructure teams to ensure that Citrix solutions are both secure and efficiently integrated within the larger IT environment.
10. Scale lessons learned and leading practices through collaboration with enablement counterparts
Experience/Skills
11. Understanding of CSG’s competitive domain and technologies.

13. Strong understanding of business processes and their implementation into enterprise applications
14. Analytical and negotiation skills, particularly at the C-level

16. Experience with Citrix analytics and security solutions.
17. Proven track record of designing and implementing Citrix cloud solutions.
18. Familiarity with complementary cloud technologies and integrations.
19. Possesses a high level of specialized sales and product solution knowledge
20. Strong stakeholder management skills.
21. Experience leading technical teams or mentoring junior members.
22. Previous client-facing roles or consultative experience.
23. Excellent oral and written communications skills, as well as excellent presentation skills
24. Personal interest in cloud transformation and its impact on businesses.
25. Skills in related cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
Requirements (Education, Certification, Training, and Experience)
26. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
27. Minimum 7 years in the IT industry, with at least 3 years as a Solution Architect / Enterprise Architect
28. Ability to travel within assigned territory
29. Ability to work in and successfully navigate complex and matrixed organizations
30. The following certifications are beneficial but not required
Citrix Certified Expert Virtualization (CCE-V), Citrix Certified Professional – Virtualization, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops Service on Citrix Cloud Certified (CC-VAD-CC), Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops Service Integration with Microsoft Azure Certified (CC-VAD-MA) or Virtual Apps and Desktops Service Integration with Amazon Web Services Certified (CC-VAD-AWS)
Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator, or Azure Solutions Architect
