Overview
Barrow Hill Veterinary Centre is looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse - Small Animal to join our team. The role is full-time with shifts including clinics, dispensary, theatre and inpatients. There are 1:4 Saturday shifts. The earliest start time is 8am and the latest finish time is 8pm. There are no out-of-hours responsibilities, and we are happy to work with you to secure a suitable shift pattern for both you and the practice.
Responsibilities
* Provide clinical nursing care to small animal patients across clinics, theatre, dispensary and inpatient settings.
* Collaborate with a team of Veterinary Surgeons, Nurses and support staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
* Support CPD and best practice through sharing knowledge and participating in regular learning opportunities.
About the Practice
Barrow Hill Veterinary Centre is a purpose-built practice located in Ashford, Kent, with branch practices in New Romney and Hythe. We are near Ashford International Station, the coast, and Canterbury. The practice features state-of-the-art equipment including digital x-ray, dental x-ray, orthopaedic equipment, k-laser, CT scanner and endoscopy, with separate dog and cat wards and an isolation ward. We promote a caring, supportive culture and a strong emphasis on work-life balance.
Team and Development
Our team includes 9 Veterinary Surgeons, 12 Registered Veterinary Nurses, a Student Veterinary Nurse, a Kennel Assistant, a Head Receptionist, 8 Receptionists, an Insurance Administrator, a bookings clerk and a Practice Director. We encourage CPD and provide opportunities for professional development and research funding where applicable.

Salary and Eligibility
Competitive base salary with DOE (up to £30,000 per annum as a guide). Includes eligibility for additional benefits as part of the IVC Evidensia package.
