About the role
The post holder will work closely with members of the ECHO Group to define, curate, and analyze healthcare data relevant to diagnostic and treatment care pathways and outcomes for cancer patients. The role involves leading analytical projects requiring statistical analysis or data science, defining new research questions aligned with the program's objectives, including risk stratification and understanding variations in diagnosis intervals and pathways.
* This is an open-ended contract with initial fixed-term funding until December 31st.
* Appointment at Grade 7 depends on the award and confirmation of a PhD (or equivalent). If not, initial appointment will be at Research Assistant Grade 6B, point 28 (£41,000 per annum inclusive of London allowance), with backdated payment to the PhD submission date.

About You
Experience in healthcare epidemiology or data analysis within academic or healthcare sectors (e.g., NHS Digital, CPRD, Public Health England) is desirable, especially with electronic health records and administrative population data.
