We're looking for Senior Software Engineers to help design and build our new Corporate Lens Discovery product, where you will:
· Work with our product team to understand the problems our customers face and help design solutions to solve them.
· Help create the technical delivery roadmap for the product, aligned with our engineering strategy and technical patterns and processes.
· Own and build significant technical components of the solution, ensuring code is maintainable, testable, and optimised.
· Collaborate with our platform teams to help ensure that shared componentry is fit for purpose, and continually evolving to meet the needs of the product engineering team.
· Coach and mentor less experienced engineers to help create a high performing team.
· Be supported to grow and develop your skills.
You're a great fit for this role if:
· You've got experience creating complex React based user interfaces, developing backend web services and working with AWS.
· You want to be part of a high performing team.
· You've had previous exposure to agile ways of working, test-driven development and paired programming.
· You understand that people build software and know the importance of communication and collaboration.
We use a wide variety of tools and technologies across our products, and we’d expect our Senior Engineers to have considerable experience and exposure to React, Typescript and NodeJS.
Additionally, here’s an idea of what else you might typically encounter:
· Our services are deployed to AWS, typically using Lambda, ECS and Kubernetes with CloudFormation and CDK for infrastructure configuration.
· Our web products are developed using TypeScript, React, Redux, Apollo and ReactiveX
· We have a shared component library implementing our design system.
· We implement GraphQL and RESTful APIs using NodeJS.
· DynamoDB, Postgres, Elasticsearch, Clickhouse, MapBox and S3 are our go to data stores.
