Job Description
As a Hospitality Assistant you will be working closely with the Hospitality Manager & Supervisor based on site in one of our iconic venues, supporting the operations team, talented chefs and target driven sales people to deliver flawless service and exceptional food and drinks.
Baxterstorey Hospitality Assistants build strong relationships with their clients, understand a brief and execute every detail with continuous quality and a human touch.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor and serve all food and drinks to customers/clients/guests and clear throughout the event.
* Ensure that there is clean furniture, dining tables and chairs available for the guests and that presentation is at the forefront of everything you do.
* Prepare all hospitality food and beverage requests offered to customers/clients/guests in designated meeting spaces in a presentable manner.
* Work without supervision and take initiative over duties and tasks without being directed.
* Serve our guests with the highest level of customer service with maximum speed, efficiency and always with a smile.
* Work on licensed bars serving alcoholic beverages.
* Use coffee machines.
* Assist with ordering and deliveries as required.
* Prepare all hospitality requirements ensuring all items are available and report if not to your line manager.
* Count and pack away any linen hired, and equipment hired for an event after the event.
* Leave hospitality rooms clean and tidy.
* Provide 5* fine dining experience to our guests from general hospitality to fine dining events.
Qualifications

* Previous experience in a similar role, especially in the food service industry.
* Some knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
* At least 1 year of experience working as a hospitality assistant.
