Job Description:
Head of Software Development required for a large public sector business, based in Manchester offering hybrid working, paying up to a £110000 Package, based on performance.
*Please note; this will be £80000 Base Salary + up to 40% Bonus + Benefits. You will want to be on site with your team up to 3 days a week
This is a UK focused role, within a very successful Global business, heading up a team of 10 Software Engineers and QAs
You will have the opportunity to work on industry leading platform development and transformational change, on a global scale. Hopefully giving you real enjoyment in role as well as exposure to some of the latest technologies, approaches and methodologies.

This role will suit someone looking for a management focused leader, and no expectation to write code, focused on driving high quality solutions and efficient delivery. This will be across current systems, and well as on-going innovation and global transformation projects
Tech stack and suitable experience will be similar to the following:
* Comfortable leading and managing Software Engineers, and hopefully QA
* Excellent stakeholder engagement, system design and documentation
* A background in C# .Net, Azure, Rest APIs and Test Automation
* Comfortable leading Agile teams
* Budget and resource management
Ideally some of the following would be a real bonus
* Experience of global, enterprise systems
* Energy or Utilities industry expereince (Not essential!)
