British American Tobacco UK has an exciting opportunity for an NPI Analytics Manager in Southampton.
We seek a highly analytical and detail-oriented Analyst to join our Global NPI team. The role focuses on providing global reports & dashboards, insightful analysis, and supporting business performance across our diverse organization. The ideal candidate will have excellent Excel, Alteryx, and data manipulation skills, with Power BI proficiency being highly desirable.
Key objectives and expectations:
Handle ambiguous data and deliver global reports and dashboards to assist management in making critical decisions. Serve as the point of contact between the region and the Global Reporting Team. Support the digital transformation initiatives (Power BI, HIVE, etc.).
You will extract data from various sources, organize and analyze it to identify trends, inconsistencies, and opportunities for business improvement, using BI tools and software to create reports and visualizations for clear communication.
Impact of this role:
Global NPI covers over 200 markets across Europe and the Americas, operating in diverse and volatile environments.
Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, and communicate data through reports and presentations to management and cross-functional teams.
2. Support data management and analysis, acting as a focal point for internal and external information consolidation.
3. Provide accurate reporting of NPI performance metrics for key forums to enable effective decision-making at all levels.
4. Generate insights to improve reporting quality and business outcomes.
5. Build relationships across functions to align objectives and metrics.
6. Implement KPI dashboards and conduct root cause analysis for performance improvements.
7. Collaborate with other managers to promote a unified approach to reporting and analysis.
8. Produce engagement collateral for the NPI community across geographies and functions.
9. Enable decision-making through detailed analysis, managing complexity and pressure.

Required experience:
