Project Engineer | Space Science | Essex

You will need to come from a multidisciplinary or System Engineering background to be able to oversee a variety of engineering inputs to the projects, providing technical direction to engineering projects on complex space systems.
Role / Responsibilities:
* Deliver technical leadership and direction to the project team
* Gather requirements and build detailed plans
* Support throughout the project lifecycle with engineering governance and Engineering Management Plans
* Identify risks and opportunities and manage them accordingly
* Contribute to bidding activity
* Configuration control – product and project
Skills / Experience:
* Wide-ranging knowledge across multiple engineering disciplines
* Experience within a System Engineering function
* Degree in Electronics, Mechanical or related engineering discipline.
* Strong stakeholder management
* Technical documentation experience
