Here at The Plaza, we are looking to add more cleaners to our team
The cinema needs to look spotless every morning when we open, so we need a hard working and dedicated team to ensure that happens.
Duties include:
Cleaning all four screens (vacuuming, surface cleaning, dusting, seat cleaning)
Cleaning the foyer (mopping, surface cleaning, dusting, seat cleaning)
Cleaning the stairs (vacuuming, mopping, dusting)
Cleaning the toilets
Assisting Ushers in preparing the cinema to open.
The Ideal candidate will be:
18 or over.
Local to Dorchester.
Punctual, reliable and trustworthy.
Able to manage time effectively.
Able to work both alone and in a team.
Aware of health and safety procedures.
Attentive to detail and a display a positive attitude.
Job Type: Part-time
An average of three shifts per week, each being 3hrs in length. During weekends and holidays cleaning will be early mornings, usually 6:30am until 9:30am. Weekdays outside of holiday times will be later mornings and vary in exact times, usually around 09:00am-12:00pm. We can be flexible with times.
The cinema week runs Friday - Thursday, and the rota is issued each Monday (excepting Bank Holidays) for the following Friday
Salary: £10.42/hour
Cleaning experience preferred, but not essential
