Job Description
We are seeking an experienced ERP Oracle Financials Direct Sales Director with a strong understanding of major ERP ecosystems and the ability to leverage relationships within the Oracle ecosystem, including Oracle partners. This role is with a global multi-billion dollar Tax SaaS provider known for delivering Tax determination solutions worldwide, embedded within major ERP providers.
The Sales Director will manage a team of three and will be strategically positioned to sell to ERP clients through contacts with Oracle/SAP sales executives, partners, and clients.
The Strategy behind the Role
The ideal candidate will have a strong contact base within Oracle’s sales teams and partners, with a focus on selling Enterprise Tax determination solutions. The role involves leveraging relationships to generate leads and close deals in the UK and Ireland, focusing on upper mid to enterprise-scale deals backed by a significant business.
You will develop a team focused on specific ERP providers to foster enterprise deals, report to SVP level, and lead by example to promote a hunter sales culture.
Location and Compensation
Based primarily in South East England, with hybrid working requiring at least two days in the office per week. The salary package includes a competitive Sales Director salary, variable incentives, benefits, and vested stock options in a company nearing exit.
Candidate Profile
With over 10 years of senior sales experience, you excel in closing enterprise deals in markets between $500 million and $3 billion. You are skilled in ERP Financials Solutions, particularly with Oracle and ideally SAP ecosystems, and have experience leading teams using methodologies like Gartner, Value Selling, MEDDIC, or Sanderson, especially within the UK & I territory.
You will build and lead a team of 3-4 specialists in different ERP providers, focusing on selling a third-party Tax SaaS that automates tax processes globally, or similar E-invoicing solutions.
Having a network of Oracle and partner contacts to develop a robust deal pipeline is highly advantageous.
This global Tax SaaS provider is profitable, well-established, and poised for an exit, offering significant influence over sales practices and pipeline development.
