Job Title: Global Warehouse & Logistics Leader Location: Gloucester Pay Rate: Negotiable via PAYE Contract length: 12 Months About the Role We are seeking a Global Warehouse & Logistics Leader to own end-to-end warehouse, distribution, and shipping performance across our global network. This role will drive Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost outcomes while standardizing best practices, optimizing inventory flows, and enabling reliable on-time delivery to customers and internal stakeholders. You will partner closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Sourcing, Quality, and IT, and champion continuous improvement and digital tools across all sites. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Network Design Develop and execute the global warehouse and logistics strategy aligned with business objectives and growth plans Design and optimize the global distribution network (warehouses, transportation modes, stocking locations and shipment process) Establish global standards for layout, material flow, inventory handling, and packaging Operations Management & Performance Own performance of global warehouses and logistics operations against SQDC metrics Implement standard processes for receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, returns, and reverse logistics Ensure robust daily management and escalation routines to address issues and protect customer delivery People Leadership Work with a global team of warehouse, logistics, and despatch operators Build a culture of respect, safety, accountability, and continuous improvement Provide coaching and development plans for successful deliverable Partner with site leaders to align local execution with global strategy Continuous Improvement & Digitalization Drive continuous improvement using Lean, problem-solving, and standard work Lead deployment and optimization of ERP capabilities and related digital tools (scanning, automation, analytics dashboards) Identify and implement productivity, space utilization, and cost reduction opportunities Use data and analytics to improve network performance, routing, and inventory flows Compliance, Safety & Risk Management Ensure regulatory, trade compliance, and customs requirements are met across all regions Maintain world-class EHS standards in all warehouse operations Oversee logistics provider governance, including contract adherence and performance reviews Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field 10 years of progressive experience in warehousing, distribution, and logistics, with at least 5 years in a global or multi-site leadership role Proven track record managing medium-scale warehouse operations Demonstrated success improving service, cost, and inventory performance in complex supply chains Strong expertise with ERP systems and data-driven decision making Experience leading cross-functional global teams and driving change across cultures and regions Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills Experience implementing or upgrading WMS/TMS solutions and automation (e.g., AS/RS, conveyors, robotics) Background managing international logistics, customs, and trade compliance
