Location: Bradford, South Yorkshire

Please note: This role involves travel covering Leeds, Sheffield, Manchester, Doncaster, Hull, and surrounding areas. A company van and equipment are provided. Regular working hours are 37.5 hours a week, Monday – Friday, but there may be a need for flexibility in hours to meet company requirements.
Role Overview
* Undertake painting & decorating duties in services and facilities, keeping all relevant managers informed of progress.
* Perform remedial decoration tasks and assist with maintenance department duties.
* Maintain records of all works undertaken.
* Adhere to Health and Safety protocols and practical considerations within services.
* Respond reactively to issues within services, liaising with the department manager to assess needs and determine if issues can be resolved in-house or require third-party contractors.
* Communicate with Service Managers regarding the progress of planned and scheduled works.
* Responsibilities include decoration and maintenance of all services within residential and supported living homes.
* Prioritize emergencies and respond accordingly.
* Ensure all services are maintained to a high standard.
* Communicate positively with managers and respond promptly to requests.
* Uphold health and safety standards for yourself and colleagues.
* Perform tasks within your professional competence and boundaries.
Main Skills and Experience
Essential
* Full UK Driving Licence
* A relevant qualification or equivalent experience in the field
Desirable
* Experience in a social care setting
