Role and Responsibilities:
* Deliver one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions for KS3 students.
* Provide focused support for students with SEN and those with EHCPs, helping them progress academically and emotionally.
* Develop personalized learning plans that cater to each student’s individual strengths and challenges.
* Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic and comprehensive approach to support.
* Monitor progress, making necessary adjustments to teaching strategies to ensure maximum impact.
* Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that builds student confidence, engagement, and a love of learning.
Requirements:
* Experience working with students with SEN and/or EHCPs.
* Strong understanding of the KS3 curriculum and flexibility in adapting to the needs of students, whether general or specialist.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students and colleagues.
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for teaching students with diverse needs.
* A commitment to adapting teaching methods to suit each student's learning style.
* An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo a check).
Desirable:
* Additional qualifications or training in Special Educational Needs.
* Experience collaborating with local authorities or working within school settings.
* A proven track record of improving student outcomes and fostering academic success.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
