Ely – covering East Anglia
£39,799 - £41,894 per year
40 hours per week – Monday to Friday – 8:00am – 4:30pm
We’re looking for an Electrician to join our team based in Ely. You will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance in tenanted properties and completing electrical condition reports. As part of a team of repair operatives, this role will involve lone working with occasional teamwork. Using your own initiative is essential. A company van and tools will be provided for business use to enable you to deliver high-quality service to customers.
The role of Electrician will include:
* Inspecting and testing occupied properties and completing remedial work to ensure safety and compliance
* Completing all paperwork and producing certification for works undertaken
* Monitoring and maintaining van stock and ensuring tools and equipment are in good condition
Skills and experiences:
* Qualified to NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition - 2nd Amendment, BS5839-1, BS5839-6, or currently undertaking this qualification. Candidates with lower qualifications but practical experience and willingness to undertake this qualification are encouraged to apply.
* Knowledge of health and safety legislation
* Ability to analyze and diagnose problems and implement solutions
* Good communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach
* Full valid UK driving licence required for driving company vehicle
