Job Description
Are you ready to help shape the future of sales at Experian? We are on an exciting journey to transform our business, and we need a visionary Sales Strategy Manager to lead the way. Reporting to the Sales Operations VP, you will help design the future of Experian Sales, focusing on sales structure, role development, compensation plans, and technology sales transformation guidelines.
You will be at the forefront of Experian’s sales transformation journey. You will design and implement strategies to mature our main sales focus areas, including go-to-market sales structure, role development, and compensation plans. We are looking for a strategy builder who can turn ideas into plans and action.
You will not only make recommendations but also help implement them. While this is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, you will manage senior partner relationships across Experian HR, Sales Excellence, Sales Operations, and Sales Leadership in all regions. You will also collaborate with industry consultants and advisors.
Qualifications
Skills and Ways of Working
* Strategic and Analytical: Strong strategic and analytical background.
* Sales Team Support: Enjoys helping sales teams and has experience in sales, but prefers an operational or strategic role.
* Can Implement: Able to design and recommend actionable plans.
* Research-Oriented: Passionate about conducting internal and external research to adopt best practices.
* Agile Environment: Comfortable working in an Agile environment.
* Presentation: Able to present recommendations using data and success stories.
* SAAS Experience: Experience working in or with SAAS sales organizations.
* Raw Skills: Gen AI, PowerPoint, etc.
* Collaborate to Win: Able to work with sales teams and leaders to design effective strategies.
Experience
* Experience within a Sales/Revenue Operations department or similar in a technology-related business.
* Familiarity with best practices around change management, sales strategy, and sales transformation.
* Examples of Sales Go-To-Market Design: Organization, roles, goals.
* Knowledge of sales metrics.
* Experience in improving sales discipline to enhance performance.
* Experience working within an enterprise, global organization.
* Senior partnership management experience.
