Job Title: SEN Learning Support
Location: Gosport
Salary Range: £13.68 - £14.88 per hour (Depending on Experience)
Start Time: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are on the lookout for an experienced and caring SEN Learning Support professional to help students with specific learning needs in Gosport. This is a wonderful opportunity to contribute to the success of students within a collaborative and welcoming school community.
Responsibilities of the SEN Learning Support:
* Implement Educational Healthcare Plans (EHCPs) to meet individual student needs effectively.
* Assist with behaviour management strategies to promote a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere.
* Encourage participation and engagement from all students, fostering an inclusive learning environment.
* Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to ensure seamless support for students with special educational needs.
* Monitor and document student progress, sharing updates with the educational team to aid continued improvement.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with SEN students or relevant training in special education is desirable.
* A degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field is preferred.
* A compassionate, patient approach with a passion for supporting students to overcome barriers to learning.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students and collaborate with colleagues.
* Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varied needs of students in a dynamic classroom environment.
* An understanding of different SEN conditions and how they affect learning and behaviour.
* An updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
