Foreman Rigger - West Midlands
If you're the kind of rigger who naturally takes charge on site, keeps standards high, and gets a buzz from leading a team through complex builds safely and on time, this could be your next step.
We're working with a well-established temporary structures and events specialist in the West Midlands area who is looking for a Foreman Rigger to lead from the front. This is a hands-on role for someone who doesn't just 'know the job', but sets the tone, raises the bar, and makes everyone around them better.
You won't be babysitting. You'll be trusted.
You won't be micromanaged. You'll be relied upon.
You'll be responsible for running rigging crews on site, planning lifts and builds, ensuring safety and quality, and being the calm, competent point of reference when pressure is on and deadlines are tight.
The Role
Lead and coordinate rigging teams on live event and temporary structure builds
Interpret drawings, method statements, and lift plans
Ensure all works are carried out safely, efficiently, and to spec
Act as the main interface between crew and project/site management
Maintain high standards of workmanship, housekeeping, and safety culture
Experience Required
Proven experience as a Rigger within events, temporary structures, or similar environments
Previous experience in a Supervisory or Foreman capacity
Strong working knowledge of lifting operations, rigging techniques, and structural builds
Relevant certifications (e.g., CPCS/NPORS, NVQ, IPAF, PASMA, Slinger/Signaller - as applicable)
Excellent leadership and communication skills
A safety-first mindset with the confidence to challenge and correct when needed
The Person
You're organised, respected on site, and lead by example. You don't shout to be heard - people listen because you know your craft and you do things the right way. You take pride in running a tight, professional operation and delivering projects that everyone can stand back from and say, 'That was done properly.'
If you're ready for a role where your experience is valued and your leadership actually matters, this is a conversation worth having.
