Play a key role in the smooth running of a friendly, well-established organisation, offering long-term stability and the opportunity to take ownership of legal accounts within a supportive team.
In the Legal Cashier role, you will be:
1. Recording all financial transactions accurately on the accounts system and processing requisitions via the Case Management system
2. Managing office and client accounts in accordance with Rules and Regulations, including bank reconciliations and outstanding ledgers
3. Preparing financial reports, maintaining client deposit monies, and completing quarterly VAT returns
4. Liaising with the Accounts Assistant, Practice Manager, Partners, external accountants, and the bank as required
5. Attending to cheque banking and supporting compliance and financial reporting activities
To be successful, you will need:
6. Previous experience in a Legal Cashier or Accounts role
7. An understanding of SRA Accounts Rules and compliance
8. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to reconcile accounts accurately
9. Confidence using accounts and case management systems
10. A proactive, reliable approach and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
This is a permanent role, working full time, Monday to Friday. You'll be based in offices in Rhyl, on a salary in the region of £24,000 – £25,000 (depending on experience).
