Adept Resourcing are recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and safety-focused Forge Crane and Despatch Operator to join their GFM department.\n\nThis role is ideal for someone with experience in crane operation, slinging, material handling or despatch within a heavy industrial or forge environment.\n\nBasic Salary: £28,879\n\nShift Allowance: +10%\n\nTotal Annual Earnings: £31,767\n\nShift Pattern: Alternating weekly shifts (Monday-Friday)\n\n6am-2pm (Mornings)\n\n2pm-10pm (Afternoon\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nOperating overhead cab cranes and pendant/remote cranes in the forge and heat treatment areas.\n\nPerforming slinging duties to move materials safely.\n\nLoading and unloading materials using cranes and FLT.\n\nHandling despatch of materials with correct documentation.\n\nConducting receipt inspection of incoming goods and completing inspection paperwork for subcontract items.\n\nEntering data into the SFDC system.\n\nSupporting heat treatment operations within the GFM.\n\nPerforming pre-shift crane checks and generating STOP cards.\n\nGeneral housekeeping and contributing to 5S improvement activities.\n\nSkills & Experience\n\nDesirable:\n\n5 GCS...
