Job Summary
We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity to join the Emergency Department at Prince Charles Hospital as a Band 3 Emergency Department Assistant. The role involves providing clinical support to nursing and medical staff and assisting patient flow through the department.
Responsibilities
* Assist patient flow and support nursing and medical staff in the delivery of patient-focused care.
* Maintain a safe environment and deliver high standards of care.
* Work effectively as part of a large multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Essential Qualifications: Working at NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care.
* Essential Experience: Emergency department experience.
* Essential Communication Skills: Key skills in communication with patients from varied populations and with multidisciplinary teams.
* Desirable Qualifications: Working at NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
* Desirable Experience: Clinical skills in plastering, wound care, cannulation and phlebotomy.
* Desirable skill to overcome communication challenges.

Pay & Benefits
Salary: £25,313 to £26,999 per annum (pro rata if part‑time); Agenda for Change pay scheme.
Contract & Working Pattern
Permanent. Full‑time or part‑time (as per schedule).
