Veterinary Surgeon – Independent Small Animal Practice | Coast

The Role
Full-time or part-time
Veterinary Surgeon opportunity
Flexible working patterns available (20–40 hours per week)
Mix of consultations, routine surgery, and medical case work-ups
Interesting and varied small animal caseload, including occasional exotic species
No out-of-hours requirements
Minimal sole charge and shared Saturday rota
Protected admin time and scheduled breaks built into the diary
About the Practice

The practice is well-equipped with advanced facilities including:
Digital x-ray and dental imaging
Ultrasound and in-house laboratory
CT imaging technology
Rehabilitation and pain management equipment
Advanced surgical and diagnostic capabilities
The wider team includes experienced vets, RVNs, support staff, and clinicians with additional interests in medicine, anaesthesia, rehabilitation, feline care, and exotics.
About You
You’ll be a confident RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon with solid small animal experience and a team-focused approach. This role would suit someone who enjoys case continuity, collaborative working, and building strong client relationships.
Vets with additional interests in medicine, imaging, surgery, pain management, rehabilitation, or exotics are welcomed, though support is available to develop these areas further.
