Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
1. Keep our building clean, safe, and ready for daily activities by carrying out cleaning tasks to a high standard.
2. You’ll use and store cleaning materials safely, following health and safety guidelines, and may also support with opening and securing the building as a key holder.
3. You’ll help move furniture or equipment to meet the needs of different activities.
4. You’ll play a key role in creating a positive experience for everyone by being friendly, helpful, and respectful to all visitors, colleagues, and volunteers.
The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate:
5. Previous cleaning experience
6. Ability to work alone and use initiative
7. Good knowledge of Health & Safety
8. Able to follow instructions and complete tasks reliably to a high standard
9. Strong communication skills
10. Ability to meet the physical demands of the role
11. Comfortable working within and supportive of The Salvation Army
