Legionella Service Manager
Location: Southend (Office-Based)
Job Type: Part-time, Maternity Cover - 4 Days per Week
Salary: £34,00 - £36,000 FTE
We are working with a well-established and growing compliance business with a strong reputation in water hygiene and Legionella control. Due to maternity leave, they are looking to appoint a Legionella Service Manager to support the ongoing delivery of their services.
This is a great opportunity for someone from a water hygiene / Legionella background who is either already in a supervisory role or looking to take the next step into management.
The Role
You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of the Legionella service division, ensuring works are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and in line with client expectations.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing and coordinating engineers and workloads
* Overseeing PPM schedules and service delivery
* Supporting client relationships and resolving issues
* Monitoring performance against KPIs and service standards
* Assisting with reporting, compliance documentation, and operational processes
This is primarily an office-based role, with a strong focus on coordination, performance, and client service rather than hands-on technical work.
Requirements
* Background in water hygiene / Legionella services
* Good understanding of ACOP L8 and HSG274 guidelines
* Experience supporting or leading teams in an operational environment
* Exposure to PPM contracts, service delivery, or KPI tracking
* Strong organisational and communication skills
