IT Support Engineer – Field Services (SC Cleared)
Location: High Wycombe area (covering surrounding sites)
Contract Dates: ASAP - 3 months(with a view to extend)
Pay Rates: £18.87/hr(inside IR35) via Umb
Role Overview
We are seeking an SC Cleared IT Support Engineer to join a field-based team providing on-site technical support across the High Wycombe area and nearby locations. Working within a hub-and-spoke model, this role involves a mix of device management, user support, and IT asset handling.
This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused engineer with solid technical and organisational skills, looking to work within a secure and structured environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage and update support tickets to ensure service levels are met.
2. Perform asset management, including tracking kit movements in and out of local hubs.
3. Carry out in-warranty hardware triage and repairs, coordinating with vendors where needed.
4. Handle locker replenishments and equipment disposals in line with process.
5. Distribute end-user devices and peripherals across regional sites.
