We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that our operations meet all health, safety, and environmental compliance requirements. You will work closely with various departments to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship across the company. Shift & Hours of work: Monday to Friday - Fixed Shift, working 08:00hrs to 16:30hrs Key Responsibilities Implement and maintain effective health, safety, and environmental management systems in line with current legislation and company policies. Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance. Provide advice, guidance, and training to employees and management to promote safe working practices. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and lead actions to prevent recurrence. Develop and implement environmental initiatives to minimize the company’s environmental impact. Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports related to HSE activities. Promote a positive safety culture and continuous improvement within the organisation. Requirements Proven experience in a Health, Safety, and Environment role, preferably within the food manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation, environmental regulations, and industry best practices. Ability to conduct risk assessments, audits, and investigations effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence and advise all levels of staff and management. Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with health and safety management systems. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Commitment to continuous professional development and promoting a positive health and safety culture.
