This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor to join a busy and experienced team handling high-quality cross-border defence litigation work.The RoleThe successful candidate will work on a varied caseload of insurance defence matters, including:Employers Liability (EL) claimsPublic Liability (PL) claimsMotor and road traffic accident claimsCredit hire disputesPersonal injury and property damage claimsInsurance coverage and liability disputesYou will manage files from initial instruction through to resolution, including drafting pleadings, liaising with insurer clients, instructing experts and preparing matters for court.The CandidateQualified Solicitor with 26 years PQEQualification in the Republic of Ireland is essential (dual qualification in NI would be advantageous)Experience in defendant personal injury or insurance defence litigationExposure to EL/PL, motor claims or credit hire work would be advantageousStrong case management, organisational and communication skillsThe OpportunityThis role offers the opportunity to work within a well-respected litigation practice advising insurer clients on a range of cross-border liability matters.
